This Privacy Policy explains how Wander Split ("we", "us", "our") collects and handles personal data when you use splitfreetour.com (the "Site"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data Controller

Wander Split is the data controller responsible for your personal data. You can reach us at info.wandersplit@gmail.com.

2. What We Collect

When you submit a reservation form, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number (optional)
  • The tour you selected, date, time, and number of persons

When you browse the Site, we may also collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring URL — but only for analytics purposes and only if you have given consent via the cookie banner.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect or process any financial data. We do not accept or process any form of payment through the Site. We do not use any payment processors. We do not store credit card numbers, bank details, or any billing information. No financial transaction of any kind takes place through this Site.

4. Why We Collect It and Legal Basis

  • Reservation data (name, email, phone, tour details): used solely to confirm your reservation and to contact you about the tour you requested. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Analytics data: used in aggregate form to understand how the Site is used and to improve content. Legal basis: your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), given via the cookie banner.
  • Anti-spam data (Google reCAPTCHA): used to protect the reservation form from bots. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in preventing abuse of the Site (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

5. How Long We Keep It

Reservation emails are kept in our inbox for up to 12 months and then deleted. Analytics data retention follows the default settings of Google Analytics (typically up to 14 months).

6. Who We Share It With

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Limited data is shared with the following processors solely to operate the Site:

  • Google LLC — reCAPTCHA (spam protection) and, if you consent, Google Analytics 4 (traffic analysis). See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Vercel Inc. — hosting and content delivery. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
  • Google (Gmail) — delivery of reservation notification emails to our own inbox.

7. Cookies

The Site uses a minimal number of cookies:

  • Strictly necessary: cookies set by Google reCAPTCHA to protect the reservation form from automated abuse. These do not require consent under GDPR.
  • Analytics (optional): Google Analytics 4 cookies, loaded only after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you click "Reject", no analytics cookies are set.

You can withdraw analytics consent at any time by clearing your browser's site data for splitfreetour.com, which will show the cookie banner again on your next visit.

8. Your Rights Under GDPR

You have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Withdraw consent for analytics at any time
  • Request data portability
  • Lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP) at azop.hr

9. International Transfers

Some of our processors (Google, Vercel) may store data outside the European Economic Area. These transfers are covered by the processors' Standard Contractual Clauses and other safeguards required by GDPR.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
