Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website splitfreetour.com (the "Site") and the walking tour service provided by Wander Split ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Site or joining a tour, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or attend a tour.

1. Service

We offer guided walking tours in Split and Trogir, Croatia, on a no-obligation basis. Tours are conducted in English unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to modify, cancel, or reschedule any tour at our sole discretion, including for reasons of weather, safety, insufficient attendance, or any other reason we deem appropriate, without liability.

2. Reservations

Submitting the reservation form expresses interest in joining a tour. A reservation does not create a contract or any obligation on our part. We accept guests on a first-come basis up to available capacity. Walk-ins may or may not be accommodated depending on group size.

3. Participation and Conduct

• You participate in tours voluntarily and at your own risk.
• Tours involve walking on uneven surfaces, cobblestones, stairs, and in variable weather conditions. You are responsible for assessing your own physical ability to participate.
• Children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times. We assume no supervisory responsibility for minors.
• The guide may refuse participation or remove anyone from a tour for any reason, including but not limited to disruptive behavior, intoxication, or failure to follow safety instructions, without notice or explanation.
• You are responsible for your personal belongings at all times.

4. No Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wander Split, its guides, operators, and affiliates assume no responsibility and no liability whatsoever for any injury, illness, death, loss, theft, damage, delay, inconvenience, or any other direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your participation in a tour, your use of the Site, or your presence at any tour location or meeting point.

This includes, without limitation, accidents, slips, trips, falls, injuries caused by other participants or third parties, property damage, lost or stolen items, weather-related incidents, medical emergencies, transportation issues, and any consequences of tour cancellation or modification. You join tours entirely at your own risk.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, images, logos, tour descriptions, and blog articles — is owned by Wander Split or used under license. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

6. Third-Party Services

The Site uses third-party services, including Google reCAPTCHA to protect the reservation form from spam and, where applicable, Google Analytics for traffic analysis (only if you have given consent via the cookie banner). These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or from your use of the Site or tours shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Split, Croatia.
